 Hello everyone,

I am the TL at St Pauls International College in Moss Vale NSW. This is a senior co-ed  boarding college, mainly consisting of Chinese, Korean, Malaysian and Vietnamese students doing HSC and UNSW foundation studies.

I am very pleased to be part of this group, however at present I'm more than happy to be a "subject" of action research while I consider what exactly I would like to undertake. Because of this school's special cohort I am not sure where I  fit in, but am more than happy to contribute in any way I can. I look forward to contributing.

Welcome Anne. I sure as you participate in the professional dialogue of the community, ideas for action research will come from everywhere.

Hello, Anne. Although I work in Campbelltown, I live in Bowral (East) so we are practically neightbours!
You certainly work in different circumstances but that means action research 'outside the square' is needed.

Hi Anne, I work in Hamilton in South Western Victoria. I share your stance: I will see what happens here then choose a topic to research. It is great being part of a professional dialogue. I work alone much of the time so appreciate sharing.

Yes to all the ideas thus far. Research is often not a crystallised moment - it is more a feeling - a thing - that niggles. Before I began my major research project, I had already compltered a small action research on the differentiated curriculum as central to policy development. At the same time, I was observing how teachers ideas seldom made it into the pool of knowledge in a school and that after they left, there would be 'big holes' in the knowledge of how somethng was done... fairly different pursuits but both somehow resonate with my major study. So yes let the ideas swirl - there is no pressure to perfrom. We want you to share your ideas, think through some intuitive ideas and maybe ..just maybe ... leap a foot or two into the air.
